Mr. Truong Giang Vo obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with specialization in mechatronics, from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 2012. After graduation, he had worked as a project officer in Robotics Research Centre, NTU until 2015. After that, he attended the European Master in Advanced Robotics (EMARO+) and received the Master’s degrees from Ecole Centrales de Nantes, France and University of Genoa, Italy in 2017. Currently, he is working as an Early Stage Researcher within SOCRATES project, at Fraunhofer IPA, Germany. His research interest focuses on modular hardware design for mobile service robot.
This video summarizes his current project of developing Robotic Mobility Assistant – a mobile service robot which can support the elderly who have trouble walking within the domestic environment:
